Chrome to Get Plug-Ins

Google is working on an extension strategy for the Chrome browser that would allow plug-ins like Mozilla Firefox has. That could mean support for services like Twitter and Skype.
According to PC Magazine:
The team wants extensions to be able to be silently updated, which would be welcome compared with Firefox’s frequent and intrusive extension update prompts. [...]
